The imagination, ideas, creativity and conquering the fear to accomplish new projects, is one of the goals of the new Museu d’Idees i Invents de Barcelona (MiBa, Museum of Ideas and Inventions), that yesterday was opened in Barcelona. The museum is established in the old political building of two parties in the Gothic quarter, just behind the city-hall. It maintains its old structure and style but it will be filled with different modern design elements.
It is spread over to floors which are connected by a very modern and cool slide. The museum is a private initiative of inventor and creative person Pep Torres and is the first of its kind worldwide. Visitors will find Espacia Absurdo, for absurd inventions, and the Reflexionarium, thé spot for self-reflection among the 4 different rooms. Besides this the museum wants to be a centre for entrepreneurs and they're planning to give several courses during the year. So to all the young creative souls among us, give it a try and visit the MiBa.
