The phenomenon ‘outlet’ has grown a lot last years. An outlet is a store where people sell products of collections that are taken out of circulation or remains of previous seasons for very lucrative prices. It isn’t about second hand articles as more often is thought. Nowadays you have outlets of clothing, shoes, household equipment, computers and so on. Here you will find different outlet boutiques in Barcelona and principally ones where you can buy clothing or shoes. This because shopping in outlet boutiques can be much more interesting than in traditional stores, mostly of course for the low prices.

In the first place we have the shopping mall of Heron City at Passeig d’Andreu Nin where you can find several outlet boutiques, under which: Lefties (outlet of Zara), Bershka (young fashion), Pull&Bear (leisure fashion), Mango (for man and women), No es lo mismo (outlet of Desigual), Inuvik (leather shoes and clothing), Bodystox (lingerie and nightwear), Diesel (shoes of the brand Diesel, Pepe Jeans, Caffeine and Pony), Vermont (shoes) and Querols (shoes). Heron City is located outside the centre of the city, but is easy to reach with metro line L1 (stop Fabra i Puig).

Lefties where clothing and shoes of Zara and from other chains of the Inditex-group are sold, can be found on two more locations in Barcelona: in the Carrer Pelai, 2-4 (at plaça de la Universitat) and in the Maremagnum shopping mall in Port Vell. Mango has also an outlet in the Avenida Pau Casals 12 (not far from the Plaça de Francesc Macià) and from Desigual you ‘ll find another one at Carrer Diputació 323 (in the neighbourhood of Plaça de Tetuan). For Italian fashion like the brand Giorgio Armani you can go to Barcelona Outlet Moda Italiana at Carrer Aragó 529 (close to the corner with Carrer del Dos de Maig).

Finally there is another outlet shopping mall outside of Barcelona, just a 40 minutes ride, called La Roca Village. There you’ll find over a 100 outlet boutiques of almost all famous fashion brands. From Monday until Friday there are leaving special busses from Plaça Catalunya to this shopping mall. A round trip costs €12,- (for children until the age of 12 €5,-).
