Sala Apolo for a Wild Night out in Barcelona

Are you looking for dirty beats, an alternative indie crowd and a guaranteed good night out when you next come to Barcelona? If you are then there is only place for you to go Sala Apolo. Every night there is something happening whether it is their regular club nights, live music, a burlesque show or whatever else takes your fancy. So let’s have a look at some of what you can expect to find at Sala Apolo.

Nast Mondays- The name says it all. This has to be one of the craziest nights out in Barcelona and like most things here it doesn’t start until after midnight. The first thing you’ll notice is the line stretching almost around the block, testament to the popularity of Nasty Mondays. Once inside you’ll soon find out why it is so popular, two crazy DJs a more than enthusiastic crowd and excellent music. Mayhem assured to the sounds of rock n roll.

Crappy Tuesday- What comes after a nasty Nasty Monday, that’s right a Crappy Tuesday. The only difference between the two nights is the music, instead of raw rock n roll it’s Indie and Electro Pop.

Wednesday- It is the turn of Cannibal Sound System who welcome different groups and DJs to the stage in what is possibly the biggest and best underground music scene in Barcelona.

Thursday- Midnight Call takes over Apolo on Thursday Nights. Dance the night away to the dirtiest disco sounds from the 70s and 80s.

Friday and Saturday Nights- The weekend belongs to Nitsa Club, a reference on the European Club scene attracting some of the biggest names in the indie and electronic industries. Aphex Twin, DJ Rush and A-Trak have come and gone so keep your eyes and ears open for who is going to be appearing at Apolo next.

Other events which occur at Apolo are Taboo, a burlesque show, Jazz & Swing, Chocolate con Churros and a lot more. So know you know where to go for a wild night out in Barcelona all you need now is a place to lay your head to help recuperate from the non-stop partying.

Where: C/ Nou de la Rambla, 113.
