It is a tradition in Barcelona to eat a grape for every chime of the bell when the clock strikes midnight, it will bring you good luck if you manage it! You can buy a special 12 pack of grapes just for the occasion.
3. Next, head to a bar in the Gothic or Raval area, which will be heaving with merry makers. Watch out, as some bars will charge a hefty cover fee on new years eve, but there will be a free bar.
4. At around 2-3 am, the clubs will open. Good choices on new years eve are Razzmatazz, Moog, Apollo and Shoko, but there are many others holding new years parties, you can check their individual websites for details and prices. Many also have free bars, so after you have paid your entry, there are free drinks all night! Get ready to party till dawn!
