What is more it is possible to watch films, visit courses in various areas and readings there. You can find the CCCB directly in the Raval district in the old town, just a few meters from the Ramblas and the MACBA. The CCCB supports artists by providing them space and borrowing their art to other galleries and museums. It is also open to independent artist. The Museum is dedicated to one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century, the creator of Cubism Pablo Picasso (25.10.1881, Malaga - 8.04.1973, Mougins, France). It is located in the five medieval buildings on Carrer de Montcada.

The Maritime Museum in Barcelona is situated in a shipyard that dates back to the 13th century so it could not be a more appropriate site for a museum which explores the intricate history of boats especially as it was used as an arsenal of ships for Spain during those early years.

The FC Barcelona Museum was grounded 24 august 1984. Nowadays, the Museum at the Nou Camp, is not only one of the best football museums in the world, it is also the most popular one in Catalonia. It is visited regularly by over 1160000 visitors a year.

If you are an art tourist and wanna see more, Barcelona is a great place to start. You can visit lots of pieces by Gaudi, Dali and Picasso. The most famous and symbolic one is Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi´s non-finished work. The temple which has been started building in 1882 will probably be finished in 30 years time.
