Temporary storing of your luggage in the city

In most of the hotels in Barcelona you can leave your luggage at the reception on arrival before getting into your room, or if you want to go into the city on your last day and have to leave your room. In case your hotel doesn’t allow this, or for any other reason won’t store your luggage, you can always go to: the airport, metro and train station Sants, bus station Nord and Locker Barcelona, near plaça Catalunya. Just so you know; ‘Luggage depot’ means ‘consigna’ as well in Catalan as in Spanish.

In the first place we have the luggage depot at the airport. It is situated at the ground floor of Terminal T1. The tariffs for 24 hours are as following: for big lockers (50X80X90cm) you pay €5,40, the medium-sized (35X80X60cm) cost €4,80 and the small ones (35X80X45cm) are €4,20. You can pay maximum for 24 hours. The luggage depot at the airport is opened every day for 24 hours.

Second you can go to the hall of train and metro station Sants. Here you’ll pay €3,00 for 24 hours for small lockers (80X60X40cm) and €4,50 for the big ones (90X60X50cm). It’s opened every day from 05.30 till 23.00.

Next to this you have the luggage depot at bus station Nord, not far from the Arc de Triompf. The small lockers (61X28X76cm) cost €3,50 and the big ones (51X55X91cm) €5,00 a day. You’ll also find long and narrow lockers here (200X25cm), for those you’ll pay €5,50. This depot is opened every day from 05.30 till 01.00.

Finally we have Locker Barcelona in Carrer Estruc 36, near department store El Corte Inglés on Plaça Catalunya. Given that this place is situated in the touristic and commercial centre of the city, it’s perfect to for example store you groceries for a while so you can walk through the city comfortably. Locker Barcelona is open all days from 09.00 till 21.00. The lockers are all 90X90X48cm and per 6 hours you’ll pay €5,50. You can open your locker unlimited times, which is not the case at the other luggage depots. As well at the airport as at the stations you’ll have to pay every time you open your locker and want to lock it again.

A useful map which shows all the locations of the luggage depots you’ll find by clicking this link of Google Maps.
