Pipilotti Rist is a swiss video artist. Her exhibitions are about femininity and human body and in them she combines a lot of colors, different music and animation. In 2009 she won Joan Miro prize and that is why she is presenting her exhibition this year in Joan Miro foundation from 2 July until 2 November in Barcelona.

During three days, Barcelona will transform into the welcoming city of the MotoGP of Catalunya. Qualify and raze of the Grand Prix of Catalunya will take place from 2nd of 4th July 2010 in Montmeló, a city which is 30 km away from Barcelona.

The International Dance Festival in Urban Landscapes  is the occasion to see shows and performances of  profesional dancers in public areas such as parks, streets, squares, public buildings... This year, the festival focuses on contemporary dance styles and hosts about 25 different dance companies from Catalunya, Spain and others countries.

This summer, CaixaForum in Barcelona extends its opening hours on selected evenings. Each evening, three of these events will take place: theatre, poetry readings, electronic DJs or gospel choirs. For example the Scottish group Lori Watson & Rule of Three are coming on 21.6.2010.

Open air cinema at Montjuic is a film festival which is organized in the Montjuic castle. It starts from the end of June and lasts until end of July. They show different movies, old classics like Hitchcock's "Birds", Aldovar's "Volver through fatih" and more new movies.

Its amazing experience to see the movie on the mountain under stars. We recommend it to everyone.
