The Parc de la Ciutadella annually exhibits Asian culture, art and customs, representing the diversity of the continent. Throughout the festival week visitors can sample arts, crafts and cuisines from across Asia. Music and dance performances are organised.

The BAM festival is a huge annual event in Barcelona where different kinds of music is presented to the public for free. The festival is an integral part of Barcelona’s festival culture and usually consists of more than 50 different musical acts and dance performances.

The Hipnotik is very popular Hip Hop festival in Barcelona, which consists of many different elements. It offers a wide range of concerts, competitions and workshops for everybody to participate and prizes for the winners of the competitions are offered. The workshops focus on various disciplines related to Hip Hop such as song writing and production, however, inscription fees have to be paid for those.

The Joan Gamper Thropy (Catalan: Trofeu Joan Gamper) is an annual football tournament hosted by the FC Barcelona prior to the football season kick-off in fall. It is one of various trophies competed for in Spain during the otherwise football free summer time. Enric Llaudet, a former club president originally established the tournament and named it Joan Gamper –one of the founders, players, and later presidents of the club. Every year usually different prestigious clubs from Latin America, Italy, England or Germany send their teams to compete for the trophy, with the host club –FC Barcelona – being the most frequent winner of the trophy.

La Festa Major is a huge annual festival in Sitges, which is a city near Barcelona. There you can see different costumes and performers like some giants, people dressed in big paper heads and some other costumes. There will be music and live performances.

This year, in 2010, it will be the 6th Busker's Festival in Barcelona. This is festival of street music which celebrates the cultural diversity of Barcelona through music. Everywhere in the city, you can find buskers from all around the world which are giving concerts as well as dance performances. Especially in the old city, you can find a lot of musicians.This festival last 4 days from Thursday 5 August until Sunday 8 August 2010.
