The Rambla is thé boulevard in Barcelona, it stretches out from the harbor to Plaça de Catalunya straight through the old city centre. It is a beautiful boulevard where a lot of trees have been placed which give a nice shelter from the sun in the hot summer months. It is not a place to shop but more to grap a drink and watch the street artists. Situated at the Ramblas you can find the La Boqueria market, a place where you can find lots of vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. You can also grap a little snack here, of course is the seafood a recommendation.

Furthermore you can find the Liceu Theater there. A great modern theatre where you can visit opera and ballet.
Actually La Rambla excists out of several parts, that’s why it’s called Ramblas more often. Looking at the southern part near the harbor you can find La Plaça Reial. According to many people one of the most beautiful plazas in the world.
